Stories worth keeping

There are moments that change you. You don't know when they happen. You just feel something shift. A stretch of road. Salt in the air. A laugh that stays with you longer than it should. Years later you realise that was the moment. The one that set you on your way. I think that most of us carry a handful of those moments around with us. Not the big ones everyone saw. The quiet once. The ones that happened between the plans, when you weren't trying to remember anything at all. A dog pulling you toward the edge of a cliff because he could smell something you couldn't. A building you walked into that had no roof, just sky where the ceiling used to be. A stranger on stage, eyes closed, playing like no one was in the room. You didn't take a photo because you thought it was beautiful. You took it because something in you said, don't let this one go. That's what Found At Sea is for. The moments that aren't loud enough to make the news but heavy enough to stay with you for years. The things that get worn in. The things that get carried, The places, the people, the creatures, the sounds that settle into you and quietly become part of who you are. Not everything needs to be explained. Some things just need to be kept. There is more behind every image. Click into a collection below and see where it takes you.

PEOPLE
2026
Everyone has a story they don't tell strangers. Something they carry with them, quietly, every day. A trade they learned from their father. A scar from a life that didn't go the way they planned. A reason they wake up early or stay up late. We photograph people the way we'd want to be seen. Not performing. Not posing. Just being themselves, in the middle of whatever it is that makes them who they are.
PLACES
2026
Some places earn your attention. Not because they're famous. Because something happened there, or something didn't, and either way the walls remember. We look for the places that hold still. The ones with history soaked into the stone. The forgotten corners, the quiet roads, the buildings that have outlasted the people who built them. If a place makes you stop walking and just stand there for a moment, that's the one we want.
PERFORMANCES
2026
There's a version of a person that only exists on stage. Louder, braver, more honest than they'd ever be in a room with the lights on. We shoot performances because that's where the mask comes off. The sweat, the noise, the moment someone closes their eyes and forgets there's anyone watching. You can't fake that. And you can't get it back once it's gone. So we try to catch it while it's happening.
ANIMALS
2026
They don't know they're being watched. That's what makes it worth watching. An animal in its own world, doing what it was built to do - resting, hunting, moving through a landscape like it belongs there, because it does - is one of the most honest things you'll ever see. No performance. No agenda. Just life, doing what life does when nobody asks it to be anything else.
